What we offer

Lakewood First United Methodist Church offers opportunities for personal, spiritual growth throughout the week:

Children's Church is for children ages 4 - 12 in the Discovery Room during the Sunday Worship Service.
The Adult Bible Study meets at 9:00 AM on Sunday in the Library.

The Chancel Choir rehearses in the Choir Room on Thursday evenings during the scheduled church year from Sept to May.
The One’s & Two’s Group has a social on the second Saturday at 7:00 PM of the month in the Parlor.
United Methodist Men meets on the second Saturday at 8:00 AMof each month in the Parlor.
United Methodist Women have a Unit Meeting on the first Wednesday of the month in the Library and an Executive Meeting on the last Wednesday of the month in the Library.
Dance Classes are offered on Saturdays mornings, Sunday afternoon & Monday evenings.
Steel Drum classes are offered free Sunday afternoon immediately following the worship gathering.
Broken Loaf Food Pantry is open every Saturday from 9:00 AM to 11:00 Am to anyone who is hunger & in need.
